About Unitas
Unitas is an open youth club for young people aged 16 to 30. This means that both students and youth are welcome to become members. 'Open' stands for that we are open to all people, activities and ideas. This makes us a diverse group where everyone can be themselves.
The association is run entirely by its members. This is largely done through committees. Within the committees and also within the association, fun and initiative take centre stage. You can learn and organise all kinds of different things within Unitas.
There are weekly activities organised for and by members, once a month there is a members' party and about once a month there is also an open party. In an average week within Unitas, you can go to the members' dinner on Monday followed by a cosy members' evening where board games are often played, a Wednesday afternoon drink (Womibo) on Wednesday and the pub night on Friday.
Comissions
Unitas has 14 permanent committees and 5 temporary committees, all of which have a function and contribute to Unitas
From feasts (partys) and finance to things that don't start with F.
Joining a committee is not compulsory with us but it is a fun way to learn new skills and get to know other members.
Companionships
Companionships are groups of people within Unitas who get together to do things purely for fun. Sometimes unique activities are organised with the theme of their society.
